“Cultivation, Integration and Efforts” - induction ceremony for undergraduates in 2020 held by the Group
On August 6, an induction ceremony for undergraduates in 2020 themed by “Cultivation, Integration and Efforts”, was held by Huayou Cobalt at the Huayou industrial park in Quzhou.
"Graduation marks not only the end of campus life, but also a new start in life. Thanks for trusting and selecting Huayou as your place to soar again," said by Chen Hongliang, President of the group, who expressed his sincere welcome to the 353 undergraduates that are about to work at Huayou Cobalt and delivered the kind regards and high expectation from Chairman Chen Xuehua. President Chen informed them of the outstanding results that the company has achieved since the “13th Five-Year Plan”, the company's significant role in the industry, and the vast potential for future prospects. As mentioned by him, space means growth, and a stage. At Huayou, a stage for the 2020 undergraduates recruited in Huayou Cobalt to progress has been prepared, where you can exhibit talents without limits and realize the value of life.
"The arrival of 2020 undergraduates at Huayou Cobalt, during these critical years amid the transition from the 13th to the 14th Five-Year plan, has injected youthful enthusiasm and fresh blood that can further boost the undertaking of Huayou. Nothing can halt the steps of youth!" To help these university students better fit in, President Chen made three suggestions: I. Lay a solid foundation, and don't boil the ocean; II. Keep up with the times, and never position your life too soon; III. Overcome instead of being overtaken by temporary difficulties. On these students, who are at the critical moment to begin a new life, President Chen has placed a high hope, wishing that they uphold the company's spirit of "ceaseless self-improvement and constant pursuit of excellence, inherit the Huayou spirit, and strive for the undertaking of Huayou; that they never forget or give up on growth, and never stop the pace of progress at all hours; and that they have faith in themselves and the future under whatever circumstances.
According to President Chen, Huayou values efforts the most! Making efforts may not necessarily yield a good result, but failing to do so would surely result in a bad ending. Everyone must firmly believe that Huayou won't neither let down strivers, nor fail their expectation of Huayou. The growth of the 2020 undergraduates and a wonderful future for all can be expected, and the strength of youngsters, as a booster, will create brilliance together with Huayou!
At the induction ceremony, Yang Feng, President Assistant and General Manager of the center for human resources of the group, addressed a summary report on the induction of the 2020 university students, and together with them, watched a featured video clip about the "Stivers" training camp. Meanwhile, advanced individuals, including "excellent trainees", "excellent class" and "excellent squad leader" with outstanding performance during the ten-day military training, and advanced groups were honored at the ceremony, and the representative of outstanding trainees made an entry speech.
"As one of the Huayou family, I'll unswervingly adhere to the original aspiration and Huayou ideal, follow the business philosophy, practice Huayou culture, strive constantly for self-improvement, pursue excellence, and fight for the great cause that builds Huayou into a century-old brand!" This oath is so sonorous, forceful and earnest that drives people to forge ahead. At the end, representatives of the Strivers Training Camp trainees lined up to take the oath of appointment, and all attendees stood up to read the Huayou Oath.
The induction ceremony, hosted by Zhou Qifa, Vice President of the group, was attended by more than 400 attendees, including executive assistance and leaders at higher levels of the group, principals from relevant functional units of the home office, directors, leaders at higher levels and principals from the Huayou industrial park in Quzhou, and all the newly hired 2020 undergraduates.
